A wooden door that that sticks or won't close is usually fairly easy to fix. other types of doors can also be fixed, but there are fewer options when it comes to modifying the size or shape of the door itself.. In older homes, a door that won't latch is often the result of a latch that sticks. with the door open, turn the knob and observe what the latch is doing. when it is out as far as it will apparently go, grasp it firmly and pull.. Shed door doesn't close fully i think i messed up the installation of this door because i didn't use shims. i just framed it to exact measure with 1/4" extra space on either side and wiggled the door until i reached the best fit, which apparently is not good enough, since the bottom left side when looked from outside (where the lock is) does.
